A consistent brand is possible without a big budget. Priorities: positioning, a core visual set, three channels.
Small businesses win on speed and authenticity; branding should make those two strengths visible.
Order of priority
- Positioning sentence: “The only Z offering Y for X.” One sentence that guides every decision.
- Core visual set: a logo, two colours, one typeface, one photo style. More only confuses.
- Three channels: website, Google Business Profile and one social network, all with the same name, logo and description.
What to avoid
A different logo version on every platform, dependence on stock imagery, and changing the identity to chase trends. Your brand should still be recognisable in five years.
As you grow
Add a brand book, a photo shoot and a tone document as the business grows. A foundation set right while small prevents rebuilding later.
